About the host

The NOWAC conference is hosted by the Swedish Association for Hunting and Wildlife Management. This Association started their work for Swedish Wildlife and Hunting in 1830. When the Association celibrated their 175th anniversary (2007), as a vital organization with 180 000 members, a description of the history and some future aspects was produced.
